SUMMARY:JP × NL Hip Hop Writing Camp (2025)
DESCRIPTION:In 2025\, Red Bridge Foundation initiated and produced an international songwriting and recording camp connecting artists and creators from Japan and the Netherlands. \nOrganized in collaboration with TopNotch / Noah’s Ark and Straight Shooter Publishing\, the project brought Japanese rapper YoungCoco to the Netherlands for a series of writing sessions with Dutch producers and songwriters. During the camp\, new music was created through intensive cross-cultural collaboration\, including sessions with renowned Dutch producer TwoThree Beats (Tiën). \nRed Bridge Foundation was responsible for the overall project development and execution\, including artist coordination\, international logistics\, scheduling and creative production. By creating a direct working environment between Japanese and Dutch creators\, the project fostered new artistic relationships and demonstrated the value of international collaboration within contemporary hip hop and popular music. \nThe writing camp is part of Red Bridge Foundation’s broader commitment to building sustainable creative bridges between Japan and the Netherlands and supporting opportunities for artists to collaborate across borders. \n \nPhoto by Jools Bosman & Serra Abe

SUMMARY:Fresh Ideas From Abroad: What We Can Learn From Music Agencies Worldwide (ADE x BMIM 2024)
DESCRIPTION:As part of Amsterdam Dance Event 2024\, Red Bridge Foundation facilitated a cultural and professional exchange between the Dutch and Japanese music industries through the Buma Music in Motion (BMIM) panel “Fresh Ideas From Abroad: What We Can Learn From Music Agencies Worldwide”. \nThe session featured Japanese music supervisor and entrepreneur Seiya Matsumiya\, founder of Black Cat White Cat Music (Tokyo)\, alongside international industry professionals\, discussing emerging trends in music supervision\, advertising\, sync licensing and creative collaboration across global markets. The panel explored how music agencies in different territories discover talent\, build relationships with artists and adapt to rapidly changing technologies within the music industry. \nRed Bridge Foundation coordinated the participation of the Japanese delegation and supported the international exchange activities surrounding ADE\, including guest relations\, scheduling\, production support and network development between Dutch and Japanese music professionals. \nThis project reflects Red Bridge Foundation’s ongoing mission to strengthen long-term cultural and creative connections between Japan and the Netherlands through meaningful industry exchange and knowledge sharing. \n
